Carter made the revelation during a recent episode of the Cocktails & Takeaways podcast, where he discussed his streaming journey, his relationship with Davido and the growing influence of digital content creation in Nigeria.
According to the streamer, Davido’s appearance on one of his livestreams drew a huge audience and had a major impact on his earnings that night.
“Davido made me the biggest money of my life on a stream in one night. I became a big boy overnight,” Carter said.
In December 2025, Davido appeared alongside Carter during a Twitch livestream that reportedly attracted more than 80,000 viewers at the same time. The appearance also reportedly resulted in a significant rise in Carter’s followers and subscribers on the platform.
Carter Efe, whose real name is Oderhohwo Efe, first gained recognition through comedy and music before expanding his career into livestreaming and online entertainment.
